Aiden James is a dreamy unhinged rockstar who’s eager and figures out how to get what he wants. He’s mischievous and has a bit of a stalking problem — but his character of interest doesn’t seem to mind at all. Riley is sweet and shy — a little reserved, but waiting for her chance to flourish. She accepts this hero’s scars and past with every part of her and cherishes every part of him. We love that vibe here.
Aiden and Riley had an electric night together years prior, but when Riley’s past ruined the evening and had her fleeing and leaving Aiden’s reputation in near shambles, he spends 3 years seeking her out. Maybe for answers, maybe for revenge. Cue the stalking.
They’ve both got deep secrets, fun kinks, and dark motivations. I mean really, what more could you ask for? It’s undoubtedly a wild ride for these two. No one could resist Aiden’s dirty mouth and praise for Riley. It’s sexy and addictive. You don’t want to put the story down.
The ending/twist felt a little forced for me and it personally took a weird turn; but everything else was great.
This is an easily devourable and fun read that smut girls should easily enjoy.
