Lilly Singh

I was Lilly Singh’s (SUPERWOMAN) biggest fan in her early YouTube career. I thought she was hilarious and relatable. I’ve been a long time follower of her now through her journey. She’s probably the celebrity I’ve followed the longest on Instagram. She’s such an inspiration and I knew that once she started publishing books, it was all over. I’m pretty sure the book came as a gift from my parents, and I’m also pretty sure I cried.
How to Be a Bawse was the first self-help book I probably ever read. I’m really glad it was hers. It’s full of great analogies, priceless wit, and digestible insight.
This book is chock full of “I can do this” and “nothing will stop me” vibes. It’s sort of a memoir too as she lays out her life and steps to success throughout the whole thing, making that much more connection with you as a reader.
I knew this book was going to be underratedly insightful and impressive. With Lilly’s charismatic voice and gentle advice, you won’t be able to help but feel empowered and inspired. She makes success and dreams seem not worth the effort, but completely attainable.
This is an inspiring and motivational novel worth all the hype.
