Where the Crawdads Sing

110% one of my favorite novels I’ve ever read. And one I most definitely cried through. This book is just so so good; no complaints. This cover is so pretty and the literature is just as beautiful. I can’t get over how perfect this book is.

The writing grabs you from the start and keeps you clung to its pages until you’ve reached the inevitable end. The storyline is beautifully put together and it is a wonderful page turner of a novel.

Set in the late 1960s in North Carolina, Where the Crawdads Sing is a brilliantly crafted murder mystery, coming-of-age, and love story all in one. This is one of those novels I hope is considered a classic later where kids are forced to read it in school HAHA.

This novel quickly made its way to my top 5 favs and will be a book I return to time and time again. I’m a firm believer that everyone needs to read it.

If it’s on your TBR, move it up. You need to read it and you won’t regret it. It’s memorable in every aspect.
