A deep dive into each sign.
If you read my post on your astrological makeup, then you know I briefly discussed zodiac signs. As promised — though a bit late — here is your deep dive into each zodiac sign.
What Is A Zodiac Sign?
A zodiac is a belt-shaped region of the sky that extends across the Sun’s path which travels across the celestial sphere over the course of a year. Your sign comes from the position of your birth and where the sun was in 12 specific celestial areas (this is where your natal chart comes into play also).
A zodiac sign most often referred to as a sun sign.
Most people are pretty familiar with what a sun sign is; your main sign. But we’re not made of just one sign. We’re made up of two others; a moon sign and a rising sign.
Your sun sign represents your outwardly and earthly appearance. It’s the sign that shows your character, personal identity, or ego. It represents your purpose of life and creative forces. This sign is where most of your personality traits come from.
Your moon sign represents how others perceive you in the world, but what you know about yourself on a soulful level. It’s the sign that shows how we express and deal with our emotions. It reveals your innermost needs and desires. This sign is where your shadow-self exists.
Your rising sign represents your emotionality and how you navigate it. This sign represents or masks the face we show to the world and to our environments. It shows how we cope with and adapt to change. This sign is where all of your emotions and projections exist, deep or shallow.
Your moon and rising signs are still zodiacs, and you can be made up of three of the same zodiacs, or two-three different zodiacs. I’m made up of three separate signs.
